Are you interested in training with a partner? At Power Plant Gym, you and your friend, significant other, family member, or Gritty can come in for a session together. Actually, if you bring Gritty in, we’ll do that session on the house. There’s a lot of perks to training with a partner!

Accountability: When you work out with a friend, you’re less likely to skip workouts. You have a commitment to each other, which can help both of you stay on track with your fitness goals.

Motivation: Exercising with a friend can be motivating and fun. You can encourage each other to push harder and stay motivated during your workout sessions. We see this every day in our LIFT program – everyone is there hyping each other up!

Shared Goals: You and your workout buddy can set and pursue fitness goals together. This shared experience can make the journey more rewarding and increase your chances of achieving your goals.

Social Interaction: Friends who lift together, stick together. Working out with a partner can be a great way to have some quality time together. You can use your rest breaks to catch up!

Cost Savings: If you do a session with a partner, you’ll save some money over what two separate sessions would cost. Have a chat with one of our coaches to get the specifics!

Consistency: Consistency is key to achieving fitness goals. When you have a workout buddy, you’re more likely to stick to a regular exercise schedule.

Emotional Support: Your friend can provide emotional support during challenging workouts or on days when you’re feeling less motivated. Having someone there to share the experience can boost your overall well-being.

Enjoyment: Ultimately, working out with a friend can make the entire fitness journey more enjoyable. You can share laughs, celebrate successes, and overcome obstacles together, making the process more fulfilling. If Gritty is your training partner, maybe he’ll do some fun dances between sets.

If you’re thinking about doing personal training with a friend, you want to be sure your overall goals are well aligned. Our coaches can meet with you and help you figure out whether it will work for you to do training together.
