Over the last few months, I’ve been thinking a lot about the way we talk about nutrition in fitness spaces, and honestly, a lot of it just kind of sucks.
It feels like the conversation always swings between extremes. Either people are being told to track every bite of food and optimize every detail of their eating, or they feel like they’ve completely “fallen off” because life got busy and things stopped looking perfect.
I’ve talked about this a little in some recent posts, but earlier this year I noticed my own eating habits were feeling kind of chaotic. I wasn’t eating breakfast consistently, I wasn’t drinking enough water, and by the middle of the day I felt like I was already playing catch-up. I didn’t need a cleanse or a reset. I just needed to get back to a couple basic habits that helped me feel more supported.
That idea became the foundation for something new I’m offering at Power Plant: an 8-week nutrition program focused on realistic, sustainable habits instead of perfection.
We’re not counting calories. We’re not doing meal plans. Nobody is earning or burning food. Instead, we’re focusing on the big rocks:
- eating consistently
- protein, fiber, fruits, and veggies
- mindful eating
- building habits that work in actual human life
Each week includes a simple PDF with one or two habits to focus on, group support, and coaching calls every other week, plus optional office hours on Tuesdays if you want extra support or a place to ask questions.
The goal isn’t to become a completely different person in eight weeks. It’s to make eating feel a little less stressful, a little more consistent, and a lot more sustainable.
We kick off May 18, and spots are still open if you’d like to join us.
