At Power Plant Gym, we foster a community of like-minded individuals who are on a mission to become stronger and more knowledgeable, and to support each other along the way. Training is always hard, and you will always be challenged. But it should always be something you enjoy with people you enjoy.
The fitness industry is growing and going through some tremendous changes. Among them is an increased interest in weight training. While we think this trend is awesome, we also recognize that – as with any trend – quality control often falls by the wayside. At Power Plant Gym, we believe strongly that quality of movement leads to greater quality of lifting, strength, safety, efficiency, results, and knowledge of the sport.
With that belief as our guide, we set out to create a facility with a dedicated and welcoming strength community, high quality equipment, and higher quality coaches.
We have 5 platforms – each with its own set of Pendlay kilo plates – 4 men’s and 4 women’s Eleiko bars, jerk blocks, pulling blocks, and squat stands. This is all available ANY TIME with no crazy or limiting hours. We also offer personal training to help you learn the fundamentals of the snatch and clean & jerk, or work with us toward perfecting your technique.
Power Plant Gym has everything you need to train the “Big Three.” With 2 power racks and 4 additional squat stations you’ll never have to wait for the bros to quit curling for you to squat. We’re also fully equipped with 3 EliteFTS competition benches, 2 deadlift platforms, Westside power bars, a full range of specialty bars, and thousands of pounds of York and Ivanko metal plates. And if you’re new to lifting or want to tighten up your technique, we have qualified coaches who are ready to help.
There’s something satisfying, empowering, and downright bada$$ about pulling trucks, lifting kegs overhead, and flipping giant tires. You can learn to do all that and more with our collection of strongman implements and knowledgeable coaches to make it happen. We have all kinds of speciality equipment and a huge, flat “backyard” to play in. We also have enough space to run events inside during the winter. And for the ladies, Power Plant Gym is the proud home of Katie’s Ladies all-female strongwoman team. This is “functional” training at its finest and most intense.
The sport of fitness has taken the world by storm. But in the past few years, CrossFit has drifted way from its original atmosphere and intent. Forget all the stories you’ve heard about puking, torn hands, and passing out. CrossFit Isotope is different. We fully embrace the founding principles of CrossFit – that fitness is the body’s work capacity across broad time and modal domains, and that the way to improve fitness is with constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. However, we firmly believe in the importance of learning technique and mechanics before adding intensity to workouts. We see CrossFit differently, and we’re excited to bring the sport back to its accessible and proven roots.Learn More About CrossFit Isotope

Anyone can be strong, and everyone’s strong is different. Maybe your life involves competitive sports. Maybe it involves chasing kids around. Maybe you’re a coach, or a dad, or an administrative assistant. A lawyer, a hairdresser, a professor. Or maybe you’re a few of these all at once. Strength comes in all shapes and sizes with all different goals. Whatever strength your life demands, Power Plant Gym will help you build it.
